Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, her father was an ordained minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet school for children in the elementary grades. Felix was a natural athlete and found her passion for sprinting in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first attempt she made her skills, she placed second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she went to the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a Junior World Record by taking 200m in 22.18 second. She was the youngest world winner in the 200m in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently within the top three in her various competitions at the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
