Abigail Leigh Spencer was born in August of 1981. She is most famous for her roles in the movies The Haunting of Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. Her current role is Amantha in Rectify the Sundance Channel drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. She rose to fame with roles she played in drama show Rectify. She hails from Gulf Breeze, Florida. She began her acting career on the soap-opera All My Children. Her character in the soap opera All My Children won the actress an award by the soap Opera Digest as the Best Female Newcomer. The next couple of years she was mostly a guest actor in several TV programs. For instance, in the TV show Hawthorne She was highly recognized for her role as her character Dr. Erin Jameson. Her stunning looks and acting talent, she slowly gained the attention of a huge fan base. Her film debut came when she was around 20 years old, playing a role in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were among her films. For her role in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. The leading character of Timeless will be Lucy Preston, history professor. Spencer was praised from critics about her performance in the sci-fi show Timeless. Spencer was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award.
